On November 4 - 6, 2015, the 2015 Highway Data Conference (HiDaC) was hosted in Austin, Texas.  The conference was co-sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration, and the Texas Department of Transportation.  The conference provided an opportunity for those with an interest in collecting, maintaining, and reporting highway data, and share personal experiences, perspectives, best practices and innovations within the field.  The primary focus was the Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS), which all states are required to submit data each year.

GeoDecisions Supports Pennsylvania Holiday Wish Program with Family Donations

^ GeoDecisions employees Andrea Marsters, Bradley Pomerantz, Abigail Ketchum, and Christopher Bley wrapped gifts for the 2015 Pennsylvania Holiday Wish program.

(Harrisburg, Pa.) GeoDecisions, an information technology (IT) company specializing in geospatial solutions, raised more than $700 toward gifts for a family of five as part of the 2015 Pennsylvania Holiday Wish program. For 13 years GeoDecisions has supported this holiday cause, an all-volunteer effort coordinated between state agencies, the Pennsylvania National Guard, and social workers who nominate Commonwealth families in need.

For their assigned family this season, GeoDecisions employees contributed gifts ranging from a bike, books, make-up, board games to gifts cards and clothes. Wrapped presents were delivered to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) headquarters on by GeoDecisions Accounts and Proposals Manager Andrea Marsters.

Debbie is responsible for leading the firm’s technology development staff and directing enhancements to existing projects and applications. She has more than 17 years of experience in software development and IT management. Her areas of expertise include organizing system development life cycles, managing large teams of developers, and coordinating complex problem solving initiatives.

Prior to assuming this role, Debbie served as a senior development manager, where she was responsible for designating tasks to developers assigned to GeoDecisions’ patented IRRIS® technology program. Debbie holds a bachelor of science in business administration and a master of business administration in management information systems from Loyola College in Maryland.
