Electronic Environmental Management System (E²MS)

E²MS is a Web-based application designed to efficiently and effectively facilitate an organization's compliance and environmental impacts. Using customizable sustainability metrics, this tool can benefit an organization by:

• Improving the capability to meet compliance requirements
• Minimizing paperwork and facilitating document control
• Enhancing communication regarding environmental issues
• Increasing environmental awareness and involvement
• Enhancing the ability to meet legal and other requirements.

E²MS is fully customizable, allowing organizations the flexibility to develop and maintain requirements specific to their operation. It even features customized dashboards that display key information in real time and allow users to quickly view information and determine what elements need attention. E²MS provides customizable reports, including environmental stewardship reports.

Because GeoDecisions can host this application, additional software or server capabilities are NOT required! GeoDecisions can also deliver the application to clients to host internally.

E²MS can be used as an environmental management system software (EMS software), environmental metrics software, ISO 14001 software, and sustainability tracking software.

     ConAgra Foods, Inc.

ConAgra Foods, Inc., a North American food company, implemented E²MS to effectively manage its environmental programs. GeoDecisions recently helped ConAgra migrate environmental program data into E²MS and trained its staff in the effective use of the application. The system enables ConAgra to identify and track training needs by employee, establish specific training programs for individuals and departments, and generate status reports.

ConAgra's use of E²MS has allowed for a reduction in ISO 14001 related overhead. The application's ease of use and built in document management system has enabled more reliability and access for the company's numerous platforms and facilities.

     Waste Management, Inc.

Waste Management, Inc., a national provider of comprehensive waste and environmental services, tasked GeoDecisions with implementing E²MS. Waste Management will use E²MS to effectively manage its environmental programs at its Alliance Sanitary Landfill, located in Taylor, Pa.

E²MS enables Waste Management to identify and track training needs by employee, establish specific training programs for individuals and departments, and generate status reports to ensure superior environmental programs.

     Smithfield Foods, Inc.

Smithfield Foods, Inc. is the world's largest pork processor and hog producer, with revenues approaching $12 billion annually. GeoDecisions developed a customized version of E²MS that allows users to better manage data, documentation, audits, and corrective actions, in addition to assigning and tracking compliance tasks. E²MS also enables the Smithfield Foods to effectively manage its environmental programs. GeoDecisions is hosting this application on our Web and data servers located in our secure corporate data center.
