Permits and Approvals
GeoPlan's Permits and Approvals module enables users to easily and conveniently schedule, store, track, and map all permit activities. Actions, such as printing building permit applications, managing documents, or mailing letters to homeowners and business owners, are easily managed within GeoPlan. User-defined permit types, fees, and associated inspection types allow GeoPlan to be tailored to the needs of diverse municipalities.
The main screen of the Permits and Approvals module contains basic permit information, including permit number, property address, applicant information, and owner information.
The Construction tab tracks the permit category, class, contractor information, square footage and estimated value, with six user-defined text fields and eight user-defined check boxes for additional information tracking.
The Fees tab gives users the ability to track a number of fees associated with one permit. Users are able to set up a custom list of fees, so GeoPlan can calculate a fee based on the defined rate scheduled through formulas or flat fees.
The Actions tab gives users the ability to track all the activities that occur during the permit process, such as phone calls, correspondence, and inspections.
