DelDOT Selects GeoDecisions for Second Open-End Contract
March 20, 2003/Harrisburg, Pa.: GeoDecisions, a leader in providing spatial solutions to the transportation industry, was recently selected by the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) to provide Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Information Technology (IT) consulting services through a second open-end contract that will run through 2004.
During the first open-end contract, GeoDecisions provided Computer Aided Drafting Design support, database development, custom application services, and on-site support to DelDOT. Custom application assistance included the design of DelDOT’s DelGIS Web mapping system that will provide legislators with transportation data, maps, and reports. GeoDecisions also prepared a specification and requirements document for the DelTRAC integration of Delaware State Computer Aided Dispatch/911 centers with the traffic controlling DelTRAC Web application. Other tasks included adding enhancements and functionality to the Delaware State Police’s Automated Vehicle Location application.
