GeoDecisions Delivers GRIP Year 3

November 28, 2003/Harrisburg, Pa.: GeoDecisions, a leader in providing spatial solutions to the transportation industry, recently delivered the Geographical Resource Intranet Portal (GRIP) applications to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (OKDOT) to complete the third and final year of the GRIP project. During the past three years, GeoDecisions, in association with Bentley®, has worked with OKDOT to plan, design, develop, and implement one of the most successful enterprise GIS data portals in the nation.

Year 3 GRIP enhancements included additions and improvements to the Decision Support Web Application, an Administrator's Console to help manage various data loading and processing routines, automation of the Highway Performance Monitoring System submittal process, streamlined functionality in the Road and Rail Inventory Data Maintenance Application, a tool to calculate shortest routes and distances between cities, and a reference manual to assist with future maintenance activities.

GeoDecisions has thoroughly enjoyed its partnership with OKDOT on the GRIP project, and is very pleased to have been chosen for the maintenance and enhancement of the GRIP application for the next three years. As the final year of major development is closed out, GeoDecisions would like to express its sincere thanks to Jay Adams and Tim Callahan of OKDOT. The GRIP project would not have been possible without their vision and dedication.
