Oklahoma DOT Selects GeoDecisions for GRIP Maintenance and Enhancements

December 4, 2003/Harrisburg, Pa.: GeoDecisions, a leader in providing spatial solutions to the transportation industry, was selected by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (OKDOT) to provide geographic information systems (GIS) and information technology consulting services to maintain and improve the Geographical Resource Intranet Portal (GRIP) application for the next three years. GeoDecisions worked with OKDOT to plan, design, develop, and implement the GRIP solution. It allows OKDOT users to view, query, map, report, and analyze a wide variety of enterprise transportation information.

GRIP is one of the most successful enterprise GIS data portals in the nation, and it has set the standard for Web applications for other departments of transportation. GeoDecisions is very proud to have been a partner with OKDOT on this initiative.

GRIP was the recipient of the 2002 GeoSpatial Award and the 2002 Oklahoma Governor’s Commendation Award.
