State of New Jersey Selects GeoDecisions
January 23, 2004/Harrisburg, Pa.: GeoDecisions, an information technology leader specializing in geospatial solutions, is pleased to announce that it has been selected for the geographic information systems (GIS) services contract for the state of New Jersey. This contract will enable state, county, and municipal government agencies to contract directly with GeoDecisions for GIS data conversion services and GIS desktop application development services.

The GIS data conversion services category includes the following services: digitizing projects; interpreting land use/land cover (LU/LC); developing custom applications with ESRI® products to perform geospatial data updates; projecting and transforming data sets; reformatting, geo-registering, and rectifying geospatial vector data; and coding and editing of digital points, lines, and polygons.
The services provided under GIS desktop application development include: customizing/programming desktop products using ESRI software and building desktop interfaces for the use of GIS Web services content.
