Gleason Named GIS Analyst for GeoDecisions

October 13, 2004/Harrisburg, Pa.: GeoDecisions, an award-winning leader in the information technology industry that specializes in geospatial solutions, recently named Jason L. Gleason geographic information systems (GIS) analyst for the firm’s Pittsburgh office.

Prior to joining GeoDecisions, Gleason performed a wide range of GIS functions, including environmental site mapping and database management. He also provided a needs and audit analysis for a county-level government and performed an acid mine study on an existing watershed to facilitate enhanced water quality monitoring.

Gleason will be responsible for supporting the client base in Pittsburgh encompassing all facets of GIS. He will also perform GPS fieldwork and personal digital assistant (PDA) manhole inspections.

Gleason has five years of experience as a GIS analyst and holds a bachelor of arts in geography from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Geospatial Information Technology Association (GITA), the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA), and the Pennsylvania Mapping and Geographic Information Consortium (PAMAGIC).
