Switala Named Director of State and Local Government
April 20, 2004/Harrisburg, Pa.: Kevin Switala was recently named director of the state and local government market at GeoDecisions, a leader in the information technology industry that specializes in geospatial solutions.Switala, based in the firm’s regional office in Philadelphia, Pa., specializes in law enforcement solutions and services for clients from local to federal levels. He fosters business development, and oversees strategic planning and information technology projects for law enforcement, including all of the GeoDecisions’ Crime Analysis and Mapping System (GeoCAMS) implementations.
Areas of responsibility for Switala include directing regional marketing efforts and project management in support of geographic information systems (GIS) projects for municipal governments. He also manages needs assessment and strategic plans, innovative application development, and data modeling projects for a wide range of municipal clients.
Switala holds a bachelor of science in environmental design and ornamental horticulture from the Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture. He also has a master of landscape and architecture from the University of Pennsylvania.
