Whysong Named Developer for GeoDecisions
March 24, 2005/Harrisburg, Pa.: GeoDecisions, an award-winning leader in the information technology industry that specializes in geospatial solutions, recently named Patrick Whysong developer in the firm’s State College, Pa., office.
In his new position, Whysong provides a variety of GIS and application development services for local governments, primarily focusing on solutions for Central Pennsylvania. Among many duties, Whysong supports the firm’s implementation of NovaLIS™ Technologies and GeoPlan™ products. He will also ensure quality control during the development of a tax parcel web interface for Westmoreland County, Pa.
Prior to joining GeoDecisions, Whysong worked for Sheetz, Inc., where he wrote, designed and maintained the convenience store’s financial record keeping system and timesheet applications. He further customized the company’s time and attendance system to be accessible through the Web. Additionally, Whysong developed and maintained corporate maps of all store locations.
Whysong has nine years of experience as a programmer and analyst in the public sector and holds a bachelor of science in computer science from Pennsylvania State University.
