GeoDecisions Celebrates 20th Anniversary
(April 25, 2006/Madison, Wis.) GeoDecisions, an award-winning leader in the information technology (IT) industry that specializes in geospatial solutions, is pleased to announce the firm’s 20th anniversary. GeoDecisions offers a broad array of geographic information system (GIS) services and solutions for the government, homeland security, military, transportation, and commercial markets.
The Madison office of GeoDecisions specializes in state and local government, environmental, and water resource solutions. Additionally, the office’s services include sewer and utility modeling and mapping, custom mapping and design, needs assessments, wetland delineation, remote sensing and environmental monitoring, watershed modeling, floodplain engineering, and environmental remediation.
GeoDecisions’ Madison staff has previously partnered with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Xcel Energy®, and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
GeoDecisions was formed in 1986 by faculty members at The Pennsylvania State University. In January of 1992, GeoDecisions became a subsidiary of Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm with more than 1,900 employees.
