GeoDecisions Celebrates 20th Anniversary

GeoDecisions, an award-winning leader in the information technology (IT) industry that specializes in geospatial solutions, is pleased to announce the firm’s 20th anniversary. GeoDecisions offers a broad array of geographic information system (GIS) services and solutions for the government, homeland security, military, transportation, and commercial markets.
The St. Louis office of GeoDecisions provides technology consulting, application development, database design, and data conversion services in support of a wide range of business needs.
In addition, GeoDecisions develops GIS software solutions for local government, defense and homeland security, transportation, commercial, and rural electric cooperatives. Additionally in the law enforcement arena, the St. Louis office has partnered with police departments from the City of St. Louis, Mo., City of Alton, Ill., and City of Wentzville, Mo., to implement SafeCity™, a crime mapping Web site that enables the public and law enforcement agencies to map crime incidents and police calls for service.
GeoDecisions was formed in 1986 by faculty members at The Pennsylvania State University. In January of 1992, GeoDecisions became a subsidiary of Gannett Fleming, an international planning, design, and construction management firm with more than 1,900 employees.
