GeoDecisions Implements Web EMS Manager for Waste Management

As a national provider of comprehensive waste and environmental services, Waste Management will use the Web EMS Manager to effectively manage its environmental programs at its Alliance Sanitary Landfill, located in Taylor, Pa.
The Web EMS Manager is a customized application that allows users to better manage data, documentation, audits, and corrective actions, in addition to assigning and tracking compliance tasks. Implemented as a desktop application, the Web EMS Manager directs users to EMS requirements to ensure consistent environmental compliance. The Web EMS Manager also features a user-specific dashboard with key information that can be tailored to maintain requirements for the user’s individual operations.
GeoDecisions recently helped Waste Management migrate environmental program data into the Web EMS Manager and is currently training Waste Management staff in the effective use of the application. The system enables Waste Management to identify and track training needs by employee, establish specific training programs for individuals and departments, and generate status reports.
