GeoDecisions to Enhance California’s Department of Conservation, Division of Recycling Web Site
March 3, 2006/Harrisburg, Pa.: The California Department of Conservation, Division of Recycling (DOR) recently hired GeoDecisions to lead a visioning workshop and needs assessment to enhance DOR’s Web site with important customer information. As part of the assessment, GeoDecisions, an award-winning leader in the information technology industry specializing in geospatial solutions, will develop a plan to increase the effectiveness of DOR’s site for its clients and constituents.
For DOR to manage its customer information more efficiently, the division needed a way to maintain large volumes of spatial and non-spatial data and provide customers with accurate information on recycling centers.
GeoDecisions will assist DOR in managing its customer needs by developing plans to support the effectiveness of the site. As part of the project, GeoDecisions will interview a number of private industry and local and state government customers.
