Wing Joins GeoDecisions as Lead Developer
May 19, 2006/Harrisburg, Pa.: Michael J. Wing recently joined GeoDecisions, an award-winning leader in the information technology industry specializing in geographic information systems (GIS). Based in Huntsville, Ala., Wing serves as a lead developer supporting applications for GeoDecisions’ transportation clients.
Wing brings more than 23 years of experience to his new position. Prior to joining GeoDecisions, he was responsible for both pre- and post-sales consulting for transportation industry clients at Intergraph. Most recently, he served as the transportation industry manager, in which he interfaced between customers and Intergraph business and product development units.

Wing’s experience includes designing and building Web-based applications using GeoMedia Web Map Internet mapping software. He has successfully applied tools such as Microsoft .NET, ASP, XML, JavaScript, SVG and VBScript to design and construct a variety of Web applications for transportation agencies across the county. Wing is also a skilled trainer for GeoMedia Internet-based mapping products.
Wing holds a bachelor of science degree in education from Plymouth State University and an associate degree in electrical engineering from Northern Essex Community College.
