GeoDecisions to Provide GIS Services for Mercer County, Pa.

(Dec. 11, 2007/Harrisburg, Pa.) GeoDecisions, an information technology company specializing in geospatial solutions, will provide custom geographic information system (GIS) services for Mercer County, Pa., that will enable county officials to streamline and improve current property mapping and appraisal operations.

To complete this project, GeoDecisions is teaming with Fugro EarthData International and Annova Technologies Ltd., to develop high-quality GIS data sets that support planning, parcel mapping, and appraisal management. The resulting cadastral and planimetrics geodatabase will serve as the foundation for Mercer County’s enterprise GIS.
