GeoDecisions to Develop Six-County Regional ArcGIS Server Portal for NCPRPDC
(Sept. 11, 2007/Harrisburg, Pa.) GeoDecisions, an information technology company specializing in geospatial solutions, will develop an ESRI® ArcGIS® Server-based Web mapping portal for the North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission (NCPRPDC). The completed portal is designed to intuitively display data for NCPRPDC’s six county region.
Environmental, cultural, socio-economic, and transportation data will be made available for public access through the portal. Users of the site will be able to query and display a variety of information that will support regional development, conservation, and planning initiatives. The purpose of the site is to make connections through the visual display of the information between transportation and land use planning. The project is an enhancement to the long range transportation initiatives conducted by GeoDecisions’ parent company, Gannett Fleming.
