Firm’s Vice President Ellis Instrumental in Creating State Chapter
(May 31, 2007/Harrisburg, Pa.) Vice President Stephen A. Ellis will represent GeoDecisions in the newly formed Pennsylvania chapter of the Management Association for Private Photogrammetric Surveyors (PA-MAPPS). MAPPS is a national association of firms in the surveying, spatial data, and geographic information systems (GIS) field that develops strength and unity on matters affecting the interests of its member firms.
Ellis had a leading role in creating the Pennsylvania chapter, which combines the goals of a number of Pennsylvania member firms to give the state’s private geospatial community a voice in state legislation and public policy.
