Schiemer Named ITS Director
(Oct. 4, 2007/Harrisburg, Pa.) GeoDecisions, an award-winning leader in the information technology industry specializing in geospatial solutions, is pleased to announce the promotion of Matthew J. Schiemer, P.E., to director of intelligent transportation systems (ITS).
Based in GeoDecisions’ Philadelphia, Pa., office, Schiemer is responsible for the planning, design, and construction management of ITS and transportation system operations projects. He is also actively involved in growing the firm’s ITS services and business development efforts as the leader of the newly formed ITS Market Leadership Team. The ITS Market Leadership Team is comprised of ITS professionals and transportation engineers from GeoDecisions and its parent company, Gannett Fleming.

Prior to assuming his new role, Schiemer served as a senior project manager. He holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Clarkson University and a master of business administration from The Pennsylvania State University. A registered professional engineer in Pennsylvania, Schiemer serves on the Board of Directors for ITS Pennsylvania.
