Scaer Appointed Leadership Role on Technology Council Board
(July 3, 2007/Harrisburg, Pa.) Robert M. Scaer was recently named Co-Vice Chair of the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania (TCCP) Board of Directors. In this role, Scaer will continue to support the TCCP’s ongoing mission to lead technology across academia, government, and industry throughout the Central Pennsylvania region.
“I am honored to continue to work with the Technology Council and support its efforts to further the sustained growth and success of our technology community,” Scaer said.
Based in Harrisburg, Pa., Scaer is president of GeoDecisions, an information technology company specializing in geospatial solutions. He also serves as a senior vice president, member of the Board of Directors, and chief information officer of Gannett Fleming, GeoDecisions’ parent company. Scaer holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Purdue University and a master of business administration from The Pennsylvania State University. Prior to his newly appointed role with the TCCP, he served as secretary of the organization’s Board.
