Route Log Mile Filter Phase 2

Client: Maine Department of Transportation

MaineDOT completed the first phase of a Web-based Route Log Mile Filter (RLMF) application that provides linkage in a non-graphic form between MaineDOT’s location referencing systems and business unit data. For Phase 2 of this project, GeoDecisions adapted and customized our SLD application solutions that were developed for VTrans, NHDOT, and VDOT. This functionality was fully integrated with the existing Phase 1 RLMF application. Also, graphic viewing functions were added to the existing RLM interface, using a SLD solution that was implemented quickly and cost-effectively.

Succeeding phases of the RLMF application will add dynamic mapping tools, data entry and quality assurance/quality control functionality, and links to MaineDOT’s videolog system.

Straight line diagram functionality was successfully added to MaineDOT’s existing RLMF application, providing new, powerful data viewing and visualization capabilities.
