ElectriMAP™

Having accurate information available for assets is vital to know condition, correct location, and ultimately improves operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, resulting in a higher return on investment.

With ElectriMAP, common network attributes are automatically propagated downstream by pulling voltage, phase, conductor type, and other attributes downstream as you build or maintain your network. Additional custom tools automatically update downstream data when the phase is modified or switching is changed and line sections are fed by a different substation and/or feeder.

Each of ElectriMAP’s tools have custom data input forms with pre-populated drop-down lists to increase productivity while maintaining consistency and ensuring quality.

ElectriMAP’s network management tools allow you to control various aspects of the electric network and validate the network after modifications are performed. The use of these automated tools simplifies the process and ensures reliability of the electric utility network model.

Flip Switch Tool: The Flip Switch Tool is a very powerful tool that allows you to simply click on a switch and change its status. If being fed by a new substation, feeder, or both, all downstream features are automatically updated to reflect this change, resulting in a significant time savings.

Propagate Downstream Tool: The Propagate Downstream Tool is another powerful time-saver. If the phase or other significant attributes change for a tap or was entered incorrectly, simply select the first feature you wish to propagate from and all downstream features are automatically updated with the common data.

Set Conductor Direction Tool: The Set Conductor Direction Tool allows you to reverse the appearance of multi-phase conductors that do not match others on the same circuit or when switching changes flow directions.

CIS Import Tool: The Customer Information System (CIS) Import Tool is custom configured to pull key attribute data related to service locations, transformers, and other features maintained in the CIS database.

Verify Connectivity Tool: The Verify Connectivity Tool identifies features with connectivity issues. Features are highlighted and listed to enable rapid review and problem resolution.

Loop Detection Tool: The Loop Detection Tool quickly identifies network loops, highlights them, and lists them for quick review and correction.

Up and Downstream Trace Tools: Trace Tools allow quick selection of entire substations or individual circuits, taps, etc., to service locations or from service locations back to the substation to highlight and display route or test connectivity. Selected circuits, taps, or entire substations can then be exported for engineering analysis or used for other purposes.

Engineering Analysis Export Tool: This tool allows simplified export of pre-selected data (for example the results of the trace tool above) for use in popular engineering analysis software applications.
