GeoFUSE®

Ice, high winds, storms, lightning strikes, and simply the passing of time can cause overgrown trees, limbs, and other vegetation to come in contact with electrical infrastructure, causing outages and creating emergency line clearance and restoration expenses. By streamlining the time-consuming process of managing asset data from across the organization, GeoFUSE provides you with the ability to efficiently make better-informed and more-accurate decisions.

Data Collection

All network and infrastructure data is automatically captured from your GIS, saving valuable time and eliminating keying errors. The GIS data is used to preload the related dropdown fields, simplifying the data entry process. With a detached database, data can also be entered from in the field and does not require a GIS license. Only data assigned to a particular work order is visible to field crews, removing unrelated data from the options.

Customized Querying and Reporting

A custom querying tool allows you to view all maintenance activity within specified date ranges, by location, maintenance type, purpose, or by any other data attribute. This user-defined querying and reporting allows you to display results in tabular form, on a map, or generate a report with multiple options for the level of detail desired. With the various levels of data, you can display as little or drill down into as much detail as you need to make the best-informed decision. You can store your search criteria to quickly create and recreate future data queries and reports.

Automatic Email Notification for Service Due

Email notifications and reminders are automatically sent to select individuals when service is due based on management cycle, priority, and growth rate, including specific high-growth areas. Restrictions for property owner refusals and no-spray zones are clearly identified. Area limitations are flagged for specific dates, days, hours, or indefinitely greatly lessoning the possibility of cutting, spraying, or trimming in a restricted area.

Additional Data

Staff hours, equipment utilization, chemical types, gallons of usage, tree species, temperatures and weather conditions, length maintained, total work order hours, cost, and special comments/notes are some of the other data fields that can be captured. Substation-specific data can also be tracked separately for maintenance performed at the actual substation.
