Holidays All Wrapped Up

As 2018 comes to an end, it is a good time to enjoy time with friends and family, remember those who are no longer with us, and help those who are in need.

Every year the Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, office participates in the Pennsylvania Holiday Wish program, a remarkable, all-volunteer effort that involves several PA State Agencies, the PA National Guard, and of course, businesses and offices like GeoDecisions. Social workers nominate especially deserving families and senior citizens who need a little help to make their holidays brighter. This year, the office raised $825 for a deserving family of four: a mother and three daughters ages 9, 12, and 14. Great job, Camp Hill office!

The Newport News, Virginia, office donated over 250 books in addition to a monetary donation to the United Way of Virginia Peninsula this week. Thanks so much, Newport News office, for participating in the 2018 Gannett Fleming United Way Campaign Children’s Book Drive!

In addition to helping those in need, several offices celebrated the end of the year with festive holiday decorations, office parties, and a trip to Busch Gardens’ Christmas Town in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Lastly, we would like to congratulate Sheela Holderman, who retired after 22 years. Sheela is not technically a GeoDecisions employee but has been a long-standing figure in the State College, Pennsylvania, office going back to the days when GeoDecisions was young. We wish you all the best in retirement, Sheela!

Wishing you a holiday and new year full of peace, prosperity, health, and happiness. Thank you for a great 2018!
